Aug 2007: IAS Solutions Announces Data Storage Solution
After trying to find a suitable supplier for several of their clients, IAS Solutions have announced that they will shortly be offering their own offsite data bakup solution. The service will differ from many alternative suppliers in that clients needing their data in a hurry (i.e. in the event of theft or fire) will be supplied their data on a portable hard drive immediately, rather than having to download it. This option will be available to all clients in the west kent / south east london area.
The company has also decided to offer a generous referal bonus. More details when the service is launched.
Jun 2007: IAS Solutions Launches Turnkey Shops
IAS are pleased to annopunce their first 'Turnkey Shop' for local stamp dealer, Cray Stamps.
Turnkey shops are a novell idea intended to get online shops up and running with the minimum of fuss and delay. In a period of as little as one week, IAS can supply a site ready to start selling products from. This is the idea behind the 'turnkey' name. Using a car as an anaology, you can literally turn the key and drive away. IAS will take care of everything for their clients, even providing the training to ensure that they can comfortably run their shop on their own.

May 2007: IAS Solutions Launches Business Blog
IAS announce the launch of their own business blog, designed to be a (sometimes) humourous look at IT and running a small business in particular, the name probably speaks volumes: Confessions Of An IT Consultant.
'Blogs' are a shortened version of 'web blog' a kind of online diary. They becaome very fashionable when they first started to appear, but have now come of age. Ian Smith of IAS Solutions said of the new blog: "We're telling our clients that a business blog can be a really useful tool to engage customers and also to drive web traffic. Therefore, it made sense that we ought to practice what we preach". Almost at the same time, IAS received an order from event photographers Artistic Images to create a blog for them to highlight the events that they cover.

Mar 2007: IAS Solutions Teams Up With OBSL For Web Design & Hosting
IAS Solutions have teamed up with Operations & Business Solutions Ltd to expand it's web design and hosting products. Ian Smith, managing director of IAS said: "we already have a successful working relationship with OBSL. This agreement means that OBSLs excellent project management capabilities and copy writing will be teamed up with our web design skills and competitive managed hosting, to deliver even better value to our clients".
John Comben, managing director of OBSL, said: "In terms of business development, we are looking to expand our web design and hosting service, working in conjunction with IAS Solutions Limited. We will also continue to work hard to further develop our relations with existing clients". OBSL are currently expanding its' business, building on its' successes in 2006. It's expected that the first collaborative work will be delivered in the second quarter of 2007.
Nov 2006: IAS Solutions Wins European Contract
IAS Solutions have won a short term contract to supply consultancy services to a European financial institution. Working on behalf of Operations & Business Solutions Ltd. IAS will act as a sub-contractor for a three month project.
