Networking Price List
We always come to your site before quoting for work, as it is important not only to measure-up, but also to get a feel for any problems that might be encountered.
Generally, we require a minimum of 48 hours access for installation of a new wired network, depending on the size of the site. For smaller businesses we can often reduce this to 24 hours, but please note we must have clear access - any furniture, etc. that has to be moved will require us to charge extra. We make a point of installing networks at the best time to suit the customer, when disruption to their business will be at the minimum. Therefore, we often find ourselves installing wired networks at the weekends or evenings - we don't charge extra for 'out of hours' work.
We usually supply and install trunking to enclose cables unless a client asks us not to, in which case we charge a per-metre rate, which includes trunking and cable. In non-visible areas (such as suspended ceilings, for example) the trunking isnt necessary, and thus is charged per metre of cable.
Wireless networks are naturally easier to install and cause less disruption. There are however important reasons for us to make a site survey first.

Wireless networks usually install and configure in under an hour, but in some instances (for example the number of machines that need to be set up to connect), this may take longer. We merely charge at our standard hourly rate.
